Description of treatment

Face photorejuvenation is a treatment which visibly improves the look of the skin. The treated skin becomes uniform in terms of color, more firm, healthy and young.

The light emitted by the laser penetrates the skin, it shortens and rebuilds the collagen fibers, it removes discolorations (spots, pigmentation, freckles) and stimulates cellular activity. Thanks to this the skin becomes lighter, more elastic and the enlarged pores get smaller. Each subsequent photorejuvenation procedure is applied at a different depth, which in the end produces a full desired effect.

No special preparation is necessary for the photo rejuvenation treatment and any part of the body can undergo the treatment, with the most frequent ones being face, neck, shoulders, cleavage and hands. People at any age can undergo the photo rejuvenation treatments, even young people with first symptoms of sun-related skin aging.

The number of procedures required to achieve the best effect depends on skin condition, skin type (phototype), as well as the patient's individual reaction to the laser (the role of immune system).

Two or three series of laser exposure are enough to see the first effects of photorejuvenation. About five procedures 4-6 weeks apart allow for a visible improvement of the skin's look.

* To achieve the best effects, it is recommended to undergo a series of procedures. Subsequent procedures shall be performed in a series of several procedures depending on the indications and obtained results, keeping the procedures at least 2-4 weeks apart.

* During the first procedure, the laser parameters are individually optimized to obtain the best possible effects.

* Sensations during the procedure are dependent on the individual patient's pain threshold and skin sensitivity.
