Medical micropigmentation

The injection of a pigment into the skin is applied not only for beauty reasons but it also improves the mood of the Patients whose defects may be finally hidden and no longer impede everyday living.

Most often medical pigmentation helps the Patient with scars left after surgical operations or burns. It is usually applied in the most exposed areas such as the region of the arms, neck and face.

Medical pigmentation allows to cover up:

• cleft lip – pigment injection allows for the correction of the lips whereas the scar may be filled with the color adjusted to the skin
• post-surgical condition of the breast – reconstructions, breast reduction, reconstruction of the nipple or areola
• post-herpetic condition – as a result of the infection, the redness of the lips fades away. The lips may be colored by injecting a pigment.
• burn scars, cut wounds and lacerations – the color of the injured areas differs from the natural skin color. The pigment is selected to match the skin color.
• discolorations, e.g. albinism
• no eyebrows, reconstruction of eyebrows and lips deformed due to injuries
